Moodle 3.11 release is finally here.
It comes with different new features, and below you can find some of them:
- Improved activity completion: students can now quickly see what they need to do to complete the course and by when. Students can see the activity due date information and the completion requirements, both on the course page and inside the activity.
- Accessibility Toolkit: Moodle has partnered with Brickfield Education Labs to further improve the accessibility of the Moodle platform. Included in 3.11 is the Starter level of the Accessibility Toolkit developed by Brickfield. This toolkit enables teachers and course creators to check the content of their course for common accessibility issues. Accessibility is a crucial topic for MediaTouch that, since 2006, has worked hard to guarantee it to the Moodle community worldwide.
- Quiz improvements: 3.11 release introduces support for plagiarism checking and word counts (minimum and maximum) in essay questions, question settings are now retained as user preferences to save educators time in creating questions.
- File conversion from PDF to PNG thanks to the Poppler tool.
